Biography:

April Ray has the educational background, passion and creativity that would make you think she was born with a brush in one hand and a blow dryer in the other.

She began her career as an apprentice at Umberto Salon of Beverly Hills. For nearly three years she experienced a fast paced atmosphere with a clientele that demanded the high standard of fashion, beauty and service that Beverly Hills is famous for. Working at Umberto laid the foundation for her business by providing her with many hands on courses by corporate professionals from Redken, Goldwell, L’Oreal, Clairol, Sexy Hair, TIGI, Wella and more.

Now she has her own salon with the easy going atmosphere that allows for her passion and creativity to truly come out. April is best known for her work with long, curly, thick, frizzy, challenging hair. Her blow-dry style can last more than 4 days, without the use of those damaging flat irons. She also finds it important to take the time to teach you how to improve your blow-dry techniques at home. “I believe my clients should have great hair all the time.”
