Biography:

Amy was successfully working with hair before she studied cosmetology.  Family and friends constantly set up appointments in her kitchen chair before she graduated high school.

After successfully completing cosmetology school in Northern California, she headed south to Los Angeles and trained under the highly respected Allen Edwards. From there Amy continued developing her craft while working at Chateau Salon in Montrose. She continues to keep up with the ever-changing trends by attending a diverse range of classes, hair shows, and the Redken Exchange.

Amy now brings her skills to the quaint and relaxed atmosphere of the April Ray salon. Here Amy has more freedom to give each client the time they deserve to get the look they desire. Rather than rushing people through, Amy makes sure the cut envisioned is the one that is the reality walking out the door. If you are not sure what style you want, she can offer ideas and work with you to find the perfect fit.
